First Friday Event for Sept. 3

August 25, 2010, Chelan, Washington – If you hear someone say “Downtown Chelan is going to the dogs!” they’re referring to Dogs’ Night Out, the First Friday event planned for September 3, 2010 by the Historic Downtown Chelan Association (HDCA).Dogs’ Night Out will take place in Historic Downtown Chelan from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, September 3rd.

This has an effect of extending the “hang time” of the fruit on the vine which allows sugars and acids in the grape to stay in balance as phenols develop that can add complexity to the wine.

At the forefront of internet technology at that time we were able to get the recognition of the world by promoting our resort area and businesses. We took a break in the year 2000 and started another business, but never let Chelan.com die. Still working with our other business, we saw the need to again develop Chelan.com to bring a viable, economical alternative for the marketing of Chelan Valley Businesses on the internet. So on August 1, 2009, we again introduced Chelan.com to the World Wide Web. Our acceptance and response has been overwelming, as we continue to forge forward to make the Chelan Valley Known.
